Welcome to the adventure paradise in Damüls! You won’t believe all the fun we have here in the mountains. Bored? You can forget about that word. Because things are funny, adventurous and wild here! Curious? Just listen to all the things you can get up to in Damüls and the Bregenzerwald.

Our children Amadeus and Cecilia keep us on our toes and want to do something different every day. So there’s nobody better to tell you about Damüls for kids than us – Manuela and René – your host family at the family hotel Hohes Licht!

Inwinter there’s skiing, of course. And since you can strap on your skis right outside the hotel, there’s nothing stopping you from sleeping in. Get your warm ski boots on and off you go into Damüls-Mellau-Faschina ski resort. And of course, there’s also a kids ski school and the cool Burton Snowpark for teens.

A chance for your parents to spend a few hours on their own. Skiing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking, snuggling, wellness, wine drinking and all the boring stuff that you don’t really like.

If you don’t want to ski, then go on a snowshoe hike, join an evening lantern walk or convince your parents to take you for some sledding fun.

Then grab your parents and start looking forward to exciting hikes, adventure and nature playgrounds, mountain railway rides, delicious Knödel at an alpine lodge, bathing in a mountain lake, relaxing on our sunbathing lawn, splashing around in our swimming pool, catching a fish in the Stofelsee and barbecuing it right there, having fun in the hotel games room on rainy days...

Not enough? You’re right! We give you and your parents the Bregenzerwald Card on arrival. This gives you free entry to the swimming pools, buses and fantastic train rides up to the mountain pastures.

Our tip:

The high ropes and forest ropes course, the adventure park and lots more are much cheaper with the Bregenzerwald Card. Your parents are sure to love it!
